Limiting the current to 1.4 A -> Did not make a difference. Limiting the current to 1 A -> Again reduced the vibration a bit but the load still vibrates. Different step frequency values (0.5 ms, 1 ms and 2 ms) but no significant change happened.

I've consulted numerous tutorials, and I'm pretty sure I've connected everything correctly. The motor is a Joy-IT NEMA 17-04 with a rated voltage of 3.3 V and a rated current of 1.5 A. The A4988 is a Okystar OKY3902 with a datasheet that I personally find a little too brief. WebIn my testing I have tried to make the delay time 100 milliseconds. Unfortunately the shaft of the stepper doesn't seem to move at all and makes a weird step sound every 100 milliseconds. Turning up the step frequency just makes it worse until it starts vibrating violently. I have double checked the wiring. Any ideas please? old timber cattle yards
