WebSep 16, 2024 · Then you may actually have a bad sector (as can be seen in the image), there may be tools to have that marked as bad (i.e. to not be used but the drive firmware).

Printing my first rocktopus I got: PROBE FAIL CLEAN NOZ and it wouldn’t align on the first front/left corner, and tried re-wiping multiple times. When going to the first corner, the extruder head pushes the corner down pretty far (1/4" to 1/2" maybe?) before retracting and going back to re-wipe. WebIsn't there any way to format it to overwrite the encryption? Re the other comments: gparted gets stuck trying to build its table of disk information, complaining about accessing that drive. WebThank you in advance. Probably the password is still active, which is set before erasing. With a little luck you can unlock the harddisk with sudo hdparm --security-unlock "xxxx" /dev/ and then with sudo hdparm --security-disable "xxxx" /dev/ (instead of you have to specify your harddisk in question. For example sda).
