WebNot worth putting that one on your toolbelt. Elder rune pick +5 has the same stats, and is much easier to make. If you put perks on your pick, you can't put it on your toolbelt. Best would probably be to put Elder rune +5 on toolbelt, and have your perked EaS in your bank.

And then slap honed 6, Fortune 3+prosper for money gains or honed 6, Furnace4+fortune3 for exp gains on that bad boy. It isn't hard to get the imcando pick axe and make the earth and song one. WebIf you’re not going to augment your Pickaxe of Earth and Song, then Elder Rune +5 is exactly the same. For those who have already got an Imcando (or like me and just needed to trim their D pick), then it’s arguably less effort. Obviously, the ability to augment the Pickaxe of Earth and Song makes it better than the Elder Rune +5.

Prosper for more Clues. Those are the only two I can think of the top of my head right now. 3. I don’t think it’s that hard to get a pick of Earth and song which with the honed and another situational perk (refined for gathering, furnace for xp) make it BIS. However Elder rune 5 is best if you haven’t got the pick of Earth and Song. You can mine a full crust (1 piece) in less than 40 mins at 99. This essentially makes golden mining suit worth striving for. When you get all pieces, you can get a gilded pickaxe your next try.
